The following people qualify for a Concession ticket to Pistoia Sotterranea

- Pilgrims holding the official Credenziale del pellegrino (related to the Cammino di San Jacopo pilgrimage route).
- Customers of affiliated accommodation facilities
- Visitor Accompanying a disabled person (limit 1 per disabled visitor)

- Pistoia Guide Center
- Montecatini Val di Cecina Mining Museum

Proof of Eligibility for Concession Tickets
To benefit from Concession pricing, visitors must present valid and current documentation at the time of entry that clearly demonstrates eligibility. Acceptable forms of proof may include:
- Photo ID with date of birth (for seniors aged 65+)
- Membership cards (e.g., CamperLife, PleinAir)
- Official pilgrimage documentation, such as the Credenziale del pellegrino
- Proof of residency (e.g., ID card, utility bill) for permanent residents of Pistoia
- Confirmation from affiliated accommodation (e.g., booking confirmation or voucher)
- Ticket or receipt from partner attractions
- Disability certification and, where applicable, documentation for accompanying persons
Failure to present valid proof may require payment of the full standard ticket price.

Online Ticket Processing
Tickets can be purchased securely online using a credit card. As soon as your booking is complete, you’ll receive your tickets by email—along with a handy link to reschedule your tour date or time if needed. If the email doesn’t appear within a few minutes, be sure to check your SPAM or Junk folder.
You’re welcome to print your tickets and bring them with you, but to help us reduce paper waste, we encourage you to simply show the QR code on your mobile device—we can scan it directly.
A reminder email will also be sent to you automatically the day before your scheduled tour.

Accessibility
The underground route is currently not accessible to visitors with mobility impairments due to ongoing works inside the Ceppo Hospital.

You’ll walk through centuries-old underground passages, see parts of the city’s ancient hospital, drainage systems, and foundations, and hear amazing stories about how these spaces were used through history — from medieval times to the modern era.
